Morning brought the most
Beautiful sky,
Then breathless and firm
We thrust through the
Storm,
Our ship rose and slammed,
Swayed in choppy foaming
Water,
Like heathens we licked the
Puckery salt water from
Our lips,
Seamen running down the
Giant waves,
Then the storm languidly
fermented,
As calm brought smooth and
Clear blue waters,
We sailed into a safe
haven bay,
Good sailors want more and
Wait to set sail on another
Red sky morning day.

Red Sky Morning makes me want to take off and go sailing! The poem really captures the passion of sailing.
    Nicely done Mr. Chandler.
