Tribute to 9/11

On October 2, Fred hosted Beyond Baroque’s open reading night. Texas Poet Laureate Cleatus Rattan was the guest reader. On Saturday, May 28, Fred read an assortment of poems at Beyond Baroque’s Rodeo Reading. A live band played music, improvising with poets who read their poems aloud. On Sunday, Fred read at Beyond Baroque’s monthly open poetry reading. A crowd of poets and dedicated poetry lovers sat in a darkened room listening raptly to readers who stood behind a podium beneath a single spotlight. The next open reading at Beyond Baroque will take place on Sunday, April 10 at 5 pm. Fred will sign up for the open reading and if all goes well, he will read three angel poems: Angel Hidden, Sixth Angel, and Angel Comedy.
